Assessments, advice and effective interventions

We recognise there are certain situations where an employee who is struggling from a mental health perspective, might need support in relation to a workplace difficulty. This might be required in response to interpersonal conflict, grievance, long-term illness, or any complex issue not suitable for EAP where an explicit problem exists that affects workplace engagement and requires an individual approach. Furthermore, in these cases, an organisation may need visibility around an employee’s mental health engagement and prognosis. To support the individual and the company, we can provide access into our Occupational Psychology Service.

The Occupational Psychology Service involves referral to an offsite, occupational psychologist who can carry out assessments and/or provide time limited psychological interventions. All interventions and treatment plans are tailored to the specific individual and their identified needs. Depending on the requirements of the organisation, reports covering details of the assessment and resulting recommendations can be drawn up and shared with the occupational health physician and/or HR, with the express consent of the employees.
